Hello, this is SoonPlus Plastic Surgery.
In this post, we’ll take a look at the results of a patient who underwent incisional ptosis correction and upper eyelid fat grafting at our clinic, comparing the pre-surgery condition to the results 3 years later.
Pre-surgery / 3 Years Post-surgery (For both eyes / right eye / left eye)
In the pre-surgery video, we can see the patient’s eyes appear very droopy, with a noticeable asymmetry in the double eyelid lines. There are also visible sunken upper eyelids.
As we age, the skin naturally loses elasticity and begins to sag, which would only worsen the droopy-eye appearance and worsen the eyelid sagging. Over time, this could further accentuate the asymmetry.
To address these concerns, we performed incisional ptosis correction and upper eyelid fat grafting. Incisional ptosis correction is typically chosen for patients with severe droopy eyes (ptosis) and for cases with asymmetry, or for those requiring revision surgery. The procedure helps correct droopy eyelids, refine the double eyelid lines, and provide a more alert and youthful look by improving the eyelid's contour. It also reduces discomfort when opening or closing the eyes.
For this patient, we performed incisional ptosis correction to correct the asymmetry of the ptosis. After surgery, the patient’s eyes look much more open and bright, and the double eyelid lines, which were previously uneven, are now symmetrical.
Additionally, through the upper eyelid fat grafting, the sunken upper eyelids were restored, providing a fresher, more youthful appearance to the eyes.
In the post-surgery video, which was taken 3 years after the procedure, we can observe that the fat grafting has remained natural and well-maintained, and the clearer, more defined eyelid shape is still holding up.
