Hello, this is SoonPlus Plastic Surgery Clinic.
Let’s take a look at the pre-surgery and 1-month post-surgery video of a patient who underwent a forehead lift at our clinic.
Before the surgery, looking at the patient's eyes, we can see that the thick eyelids are covering the pupils, making the eyes look tired and sleepy. To open the eyes, the patient had to lift their eyebrows and forehead, which also revealed some fine lines on the forehead.
During the consultation, the patient wanted to correct ptosis and desired a more refreshed eye appearance but did not want double eyelid surgery.
To address various concerns and meet the patient’s needs, we performed a forehead lift. Even though no double eyelids were created, we can see that the eyes look sharper, more awake, the tired eyes have improved, and fine lines have been reduced.
A forehead lift can be recommended regardless of gender or age for patients
who have a narrow distance between the eyes and eyebrows making double eyelid surgery difficult,
those with thick eyelids and drooping eyelids,
those who use their forehead to lift their eyes due to drooping eyelids,
those with wrinkles in the upper face area such as the forehead, glabella, eyes, and nose bridge,
and for patients whose forehead skin has descended due to aging.
For an accurate diagnosis, it is recommended to consult with a plastic surgeon who specializes in forehead lifts.
(Post-surgery complications such as bleeding, infection, inflammation, and side effects may occur. Surgical results and satisfaction may vary from person to person.)
