Let’s take a look at a patient who underwent a forehead lift and non-incisional double eyelid surgery at our clinic, comparing their condition before the surgery and 3 months after.
This patient is a middle-aged woman who had natural eyes without any previous double eyelid surgery. Before the surgery, her eyelids were sagging and she had noticeable forehead wrinkles.
If the patient had only undergone eyelid surgery, the distance between her eyes and eyebrows would have gotten closer, making her eyes look heavier and more tired. As she aged, the wrinkles on the nose bridge would have become more pronounced, and the inner wrinkles beside the nose would have deepened as well.
For these reasons, the patient underwent non-incisional double eyelid surgery along with a forehead lift.
In the post-surgery photos, you can see that the double eyelid surgery was performed using the non-incisional method. Since the forehead lift was done at the same time, her eyebrows did not droop, and in fact, the distance between her eyes and eyebrows was slightly increased.
Additionally, the forehead wrinkles were smoothed out, and her forehead now appears firmer.
For patients over middle age, it is important to consider whether a forehead lift is necessary when performing eyelid surgery.
