Hello, this is SoonPlus Plastic Surgery.
Let’s take a look at the video showing the pre-surgery and 1-month post-surgery stages of a patient who underwent mini lower blepharoplasty at our clinic.
This patient underwent mini lower blepharoplasty.
If we look at the pre-surgery appearance, we can see that the lower eyelid is bulging out with a shadow beneath it.
The issue here is whether this bulging fat can be solved only with an under-eye fat repositioning surgery.
Since the patient is in an older age group, lower blepharoplasty might be worth considering. However, since there aren’t many fine lines under the eyes, a full lower blepharoplasty could feel too much.
In this case, we consider the mini lower blepharoplasty, which involves making a small incision at the back of the eye.
In the post-surgery video, we can see that the bulging fat under the eyes has been resolved through the mini lower blepharoplasty. Also, the shadow has improved, reducing the darkness of the under-eye circles.
Additionally, through an outer incision, the orbicularis oculi muscle was tightened.
By tightening this muscle, the skin became slightly firmer, resulting in a reduction of fine lines.
