Hello.
This is SoonPlus Plastic Surgery Clinic.
In this video, we will review the pre-surgery and post-surgery results after 10 days of lower blepharoplasty performed at our clinic.
There are several types of eye surgeries performed in middle age.
These include upper blepharoplasty which is a typical double eyelid surgery, lower blepharoplasty to improve under-eye bags, and brow lifts to correct sagging eyelids and tired-looking eyes, among others.
Middle-aged eye surgeries should be done with great care, not only for cosmetic purposes but also to alleviate functional discomfort and improve the eye area for a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
As we age, fat accumulates under the eyes, leading to sagging skin and wrinkles. Lower blepharoplasty addresses these issues by removing excess fat and tightening the skin to create a smooth under-eye area.
In the case of the patient in this video, aging caused fat accumulation under the eyes and sagging skin, creating dark shadows that made the face appear older and more fatigued. After undergoing lower blepharoplasty, the excess fat and sagging skin were removed, resulting in a smoother and more youthful under-eye area.
Additionally, thanks to a detailed surgical plan, there is minimal bruising and swelling even though it has only been 10 days post-surgery, allowing the patient to quickly return to daily activities.
(Please note that the recovery process may vary depending on the patient's overall condition and skin type.)
Lower blepharoplasty should be tailored to each patient's unique skin characteristics. If performed incorrectly, it may result in excessive skin stretching and further wrinkles. Therefore, we highly recommend consulting with experienced and skilled professionals for proper diagnosis and treatment.
(Note: Post-surgery complications such as bleeding, infection, inflammation, and other side effects may occur. The results and satisfaction of the surgery can vary among individuals.)
